Jennifer Hausch has a story of a lifetime. When Jennifer and her husband were vacationing down in Florida, they decided to go on a eco-tour boat ride. What they thought was going to be a fun expedition, turned out to be pretty gruesome.
When Jennifer and David Hausch were traveling on the boat, a 200 pound spotted eagle came hurling out of the water and struck Jennifer right in the chest.
Surprisingly she was not injured, but Jennifer claims it was a heart pounding experience, literally!
The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation team ended up even saving the fish and safely putting the beautiful ray back in the water.
It’s not uncommon to get hit by flying Asian carp in freshwater, but this eagle ray story will definitely go down in the books!
