I just read a great article in the recent publication of the Grosse Pointe Connection magazine.
The article shows that you don’t have to look far to enjoy what the great outdoors has to offer. With a little hard work and some money, you can transform your yard or garden into a wildlife refuge of fun.
Bird houses are just a great start because they bring the birds in and keep them in your backyard. Bird feeders are great too, but having both is the best thing to do. When you just have bird feeders, the birds will feed then leave. With bird houses, the birds will have an option of actually making a home.
And having a garden will just top it off, it makes your whole yard look beautiful. You can do this in any city you live in, unless you have an apartment that doesn’t have a backyard. Feeding birds and allowing them to make homes in your own backyard is your own right to freedom. It brings you closer to nature, allowing all the stress go away and let you relax in your backyard.
If you live in the country, it gets even better. There’s ways to feed both birds, deer, and other beautiful lifeforms. Backyards can be a lot of fun, just make sure you research it before you start doing any work. I just touched on a little part of the hobby.
