Topwater Flies on Kent Lake

So I went over to Gander Mountain to pick up fly lures to catch some nice size panfish next time I head out to Kent Lake.

Since there were so many fish jumping on Kent, I thought it would be a good idea to purchase a batch of flies. I was so amazed to see such a high price on them, for like two flies it was $3.50.

That’s pretty high for two tiny sized lures. I also bought some small sized crankbaits which a great for catching panfish.

It just seems like every store around is upping the price of everything since the hurting economy, but you can still find some deals.

I bought a Pelican Bass Raider Pontoon boat the other day for only $460 at Sports Authority, I did some searching and the boat retails for $650-$700.

I let you know how well I do with them on Kent Lake, last time I was out there I tried a few of my old flies and caught a few bluegill and sunfish.

Maybe this time around I’ll get a bass or two on topwater.
