Tips on Buying a Fishing Boat

In this short video I give some quick tips on buying a fishing boat. This can be a rather complicated thing to do if you don’t know much about fishing boats.

Personally I find that the warranty and reliability are the most important things when buying a boat. Of course there are other things to be concerned about such as features.

But remember, you can always customize your boat and add more features as you go along. If you don’t have a reliable boat, you’ll spend most of your time fixing it, rather than modding it. I know many fishermen that have gone through hell with riveted boats, personally i feel that’s a thing of the past.

Riveted fishing boats tend to leak a lot and have much more maintenance than welded hull boats. It’s been a year and I’ve been the hell out of my Crestliner Super Hawk on Lake St.

Clair, so far the welds have held up pretty good. Make sure you watch the whole video for all tips you need for buying a fishing boat. I sure can’t wait to get back out on my boat this year, problem free!
