Pre-Treated Clothing as Repellent

Dam Pesky Critters!

I have got some great new information for you avid night fishermen! A study just conducted by researchers at The University of North Carolina Gillings School of Global Public Health shows that a group of state water quality employees who wore clothing treated with a long-lasting insect repellent were bitten by ticks substantially less often than were their colleagues who used insect spray repellents and other preventive measures.

So you know what that means, companies like Realtree and Mossy Oak will be jumping on board soon as possible to make some new Pre-Treated Clothing to keep those pesky Mosquitoes away for night fishing.

I know at times I want to be able to fish at night on Lake St. Clair, I tried it twice last year and just got bombarded by bugs.
Night time is a great period of the day when walleye like to come out and feed along with other species of fish.

Hopefully we’ll see this new technology pretty soon, I think pre-treated clothing holds a lot of promise for fishermen and hunters alike.

Well hell any kind of outdoorsmen!

Flavor Flav Remington Spokesman

Flavor Flav New Remington Spokesman

This is rather interesting in the world of hunting, rapper Flavor Flav has been chosen to represent the new spokesman for Remington.

I’m not quite sure what hunters were thinking when they chose him in an e-mail survey, that statistically beat out Brett Favre, Richard Childress, Jeff Foxworthy, and Chipper Jones.

Maybe the hunters wanted to see if Remington would actually hire him. If you take a look at the hunter in the picture, he finds it pretty funny, lol.

Last thing I heard about Flavor Flav was him hooking up with Stallone’s x-wife Brigitte Nielsen.

ESPN Bass Professor Doug Hannon

ESPN's Bass Professor Doug Hannon

I don’t know if you fishermen have heard of Dough Hannon, formally know as the Bass Professor. I guess a few years back he had a fishing show on ESPN.

I don’t think they air the show anymore (I could be wrong), however I did find his channel up on Youtube that provides tons of fishing tips on catching bass. The guy is pretty intelligent and makes some great pointers about catching bass.

So if you have some free time, checkout his channel for some bass fishing tips. God I love YouTube!
