After hearing about San Francisco’s gas pipeline explosion right after the oil pipeline leak in Kalamazoo River.
One this is for sure, we’re in trouble! Pollution seems to be at it’s highest, America’s infrastructure is starting to crumble and the government isn’t doing anything about it.
These companies that are in charge of these pipes, obviously aren’t thoroughly checking these pipes.
I remember ‘Pacific Gas and Electric” stating on the News they sent someone out a few days before because residents were complaining of a gas odor, they claim they checked the pipe and there weren’t any major signs.
This goes to show!
I did hear that Obama’s administration sent Congress a legislation strengthening pipeline oversight.
So it seems like they are trying to do something, but will anything get done, well I guess we’ll soon find out in the future.
It sure is sad, because we’re killing ourselves along with our beautiful fish. Just recap on the Kalamazoo oil spill, over 800,000 gallons pored into the river.
It’s no doubt that this did some serious damage. Both of these disasters happened after the BP oil spill. If we don’t do anything about the problem now, 10-20 years from now we might not be fishing at all.
