Horrible Day of Fishing

Well my girlfriend and I got out fishing today, but the turnout was pretty horrible to say the least.

I did however have a big fish on at one point in deeper water, I was using a deep diving Bomber crankbait.

Felt it hit and within minutes it surfaced and the crankbait popped out of its mouth.

I was trying to look and see what kind of fish it was, but the glare of the sun on the water was just so dam bright, didn’t manage to see anything.

But I did hear it splash in the water, it was definitely something of decent size. If I had a guess, I would say the fish was either a northern pike or a muskie.

For the rest of the time being, we didn’t even get a hit, not even see a fish jump out of the water.

The fish just weren’t active today, it was surprising too because it was a beautiful day and the lake was really really calm.

Almost like glass, it sucks to have perfect days like this and not catch a sing fish. Well at least land one, we didn’t even have a chance for that.

So since we didn’t land a fish, I didn’t get to snap any beautiful photos of fish today. I did get some great high definition pictures of some Swans and I think a Crane bird.

The Crane bird was very cool, the colors of it blended in perfectly with the background of the rocks, barely spotted him. It must be some type of predator camouflage so it can snatch birds out of the water.
