Greek Yooper Fishing Lake St Clair

Da Greek Yooper was down from Iron River to enjoy a nice day of fishing on Lake St. Clair with me and my friend Cameron.

This was about two or three weeks ago.

It was right before the Fish Flies came in and ruined the fishing for the next two months, dam those fish flies.

Da Greek Yooper caught a nice smallmouth bass and had a really nice bass hooked, I would say a three or four pounder, it jumped and the monster came unhooked. I just got a glimpse of it, it was really big, when it dove back in the water it made a pretty decent splash.

I picked up a young smallmouth bass as well, caught it on a Bomber crankbait, a great crankbait to use if you haven’t tried one yet.

And my friend Cameron caught a decent size largemouth bass on a Strike King crankbait. He was surprised to have caught it, he let the crankbait drift for a few minutes without touching it, then wham!

Felt the hit and pulled up a nice size largemouth.

The day ended with a pike, nothing big, just young northern pike. It was a still fun day of fishing and was great to see Da Greek Yooper down from the upper Upper Peninsula of Michigan.
