Default Fatal Boat Crash on Lake St. Clair

A boat crash on Lake St. Clair has left one dead and six other people injured. This all happened at night(12:30am.) Mike Mielke owned the boat that got hit, a 31-foot 1983 Formula. He stated the lake was calm, it was a clear night, and he had his navigation lights on. There should of been no way for the other boater to hit him.

The boater who hit him was Eric Alex Morey, a 27-year-old Clawson man, he was the one who got killed. It's said that Morey wasn't drinking, but that doesn't mean anything. That doesn't rule out other things such as drugs, he could of been smoking Marijuana. I've been out on the lake when it's pitch black, your eyes adjust and you can see perfectly fine. Plus Mielke had his lights on, this really sounds fishy to me. It's possible it could of been an accident, but I think otherwise. I'm just glad more people weren't killed.
