Fishing with the Zara Spook

Thrill of fishing with the Zara Spook!

If you’ve never fished with the Zara Spook before, you don’t know what thrill and heart pounding action you’re missing out on.

Topwater fishing is one of the all time favorites of mine! Mainly because you get to see the fish jump right out of the water. It’s a superb adrenaline rush to sum it up!

Yeah topwater fishing with the Zara Spook takes a lot of work, it consists of twitch your fishing pole constantly ever second, but the pay of when a largemouth bass hits your Zara Spook is big!

If you’ve fished with the Zara Spook, you know exactly what I’m talking about. There’s no thrill like it with another lure. I highly suggest picking some Zara Spooks up this summer, believe me, you’ll thank me later!

The number one tip with the Zara Spook is you have to fish it on a pretty calm day. Or pick a spot on your lake where it’s calm. Largemouth bass love to go after it in shallow water near the edge of a lake or pond.

And on occasion you’ll get a big northern pike or musky to hit too. Now that’s an amazing sight to see!

Another tip is letting the Zara Spook sit for about 10 seconds after you’ve twitched it a few times. Sometimes fish hit when the Zara Spook is still in the water!
The fish can’t resist the easiness of the catch! I mean think about it, what’s the most vulnerable time for a frog?

Yes you’ve guessed it, when they are standing still! Just using common sense like this can help you become a better fisherman overall. It’s fun to just sit down on a day off from work and think about the different ways you can fish your lures.

Learning how to mimic the fish’s prey is a big secret of many pro fishermen.
