Fishing the North Coast

It’s said that the mouth of the Klamath river is a fisherman’s paradise.

The area is not just filled with Salmon, but also Steelhead and redtail perch. The variety of fish and the abundance of wildlife keep fisherman coming back each year. You can actually see gray whales, porpoises, black bears, deer, sea lions, otters, bald eagles, osprey and pelicans within 100 yard radius of where you are fishing.
That’s pretty wild isn’t it?

In this picture to the right you see John Stroh with a nice size Chinook salmon.

I congratulate him on such a magnificent catch, the fish is monstrous. I just wish one day I could fish an area like that, truly is heaven.
