Fishing Before Storm

Checkout this awesome shot of a Muskellunge me and my girl caught the other day trolling on Lake St. Clair.

The Muskie jumped out of the water three times, a good two or three feet out of the air.

Haven’t see a fish put up a good fight like this in a long time.

To be honest with you the whole fishing day was awesome.

It was right before the rain storm so the the fish were on a feeding frenzy!

I caught a Walleye on my rainbow trout color Bomber crankbait.

I was kind of surprised as this was the first Walleye of the year.

Hopefully next time we are out we can get another one.

My girlfriend caught this monster smallmouth bass, the biggest one I had ever seen.

The bottom picture is of a two pound smallmouth bass, not as big as my girlfriend’s, but was still a lot of fun to reel in.

This good day of fishing shows you how prime fishing can be before a storm.

You have to be careful though, because some storms lead to three to four foot waves or big lightning.

So be very careful fisherman!
