Not really a boat, they call it a semi-submarine. The company that made it is Raonhaje, they have dubbed it the Ego.
Imagine the fun you could have with this new innovation, one fisherman could be casting up above, while another fisherman could be scouting out fish and prime locations down below.
And when the fisherman up above catches a fish, the fisherman down below could see the whole visualization of the event!
While something like this probably only works in clear conditions, especially saltwater oceans, it’s still a really neat idea.
On a clear day I think this would work in Lake St. Clair, the water has really got clearer in the lake due to zebra muscles. Other inland lakes in Michigan and other states, I’m not so convinced the Ego would work.
They are just way too murky!
All I can say is I want one! But deep down I know I’ll never have one, a craft like this probably costs upward of $80k.
A cool thing about the Ego is it’s eco too, the whole craft is propelled by electric motors and a Trojan T-890 batter pack.
Man this would be so much fun on fishing expeditions, but I don’t know how you would trailer it to your local lake, lol?
