The DNR in Zimmerman, Minnesota has just auctioned off a large arsenal of 300 confiscated firearms last weekend. The auction attracted more than 1,000 hunters. The 300 firearms included shotguns and rifles that state officials confiscated from people who broke the law while hunting or fishing.
One bidder, Erin Conley bid $475 for a Remington .30-06 rifle.
She’s not exactly sure if that was a good price or not, but she had fun at the auction. Hey, if you got the money, go ahead.
All bidders must receive a thorough background check before they can collect their rifle purchase(s). This was the first DNR firearm auction in about ten years, could it be because of the horrible economy?
