Two men in York County have pleaded guilty to illegally killing four deer and a wild turkey back in October.
The two poachers have each been fined $1,300 after pleading guilty to four counts of illegally killing a deer and a wild turkey.
The two individuals were Jeffrey Alan Smith of the age of 48 and Keith Eugen Myers of the age of 45. A few wildlife conservation officers spotted the two hunters exiting ad camp in Girard Township walking across a field carrying a rifle without any orange hunting clothes.
The officers stopped the two men and proceeded to interrogate them. Shortly afterwards both of the hunters showed them the four deer and one wild turkey.
Turkey season had already concluded and deer hunting with a rifle was not allowed on October 20-21st.
Along with the fines they could possibly be getting their hunting and fur privileges revoked.
