Buckeye Shad Fishing Lure

Buckeye Shad

The Buckeye Shad looks like an ugly lure, but let me tell you this fishing lure works! For decades fishermen have been using this secret lure on many species of fish: northern pike, bass, and walleye.

There’s something to this lure, I don’t know if it’s the shape, the way it wobbles, or the color. It really doesn’t matter, all that matters is it works!

I’ve used it on Lake St. Clair many times, bouncing it off the bottom like a wounded minnow.

Smallmouth bass’s senses pick it right up and they want to bite it immediately. Soon as you feel the bite set the hook, within seconds you’ll have a nice size smallmouth bass to bring home and cook up.

It’s really a great lure to use on all species of bass: largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, and silver bass. I haven’t tried it on striped bass, but I’m sure it works.

You can either try searching for the Buckeye Shad at our fishing store or by going right to the manufacturer’s website buckeyeshad.com.
