Biggest Fish: White Sturgeon

Biggest Fish: White Sturgeon in Great Lakes

The biggest fish in the Great Lakes has to be the White Sturgeon, while it’s not a for sure thing, chances are it’s the biggest fish.

Other fish that might be as big as the Sturgeon are Muskie and Carp, but I’ve never seen one as big as the Sturgeon.

Checkout this huge White Sturgeon that was caught in one of the fresh bodies of water in the United States. The fish is so huge, I get why some fisherman call it the Dinosaur of the Great Lakes. Sturgeon are a prehistoric fish that date back 200 million years ago, making them the most ancient actinopterygian fishes.

They sure are a magnificent looking fish!
