Abundance of Michigan Turkeys

Even though the winter here in Michigan was very long and cold, there have been a decent amount of deer spotted throughout the woods. Seems as though they made it really well through the winter.

Another wildlife that seems to be everywhere are Turkeys, an abundant amount of birds have been seen in the southern part of Michigan.

Many oudoorsmen have reported to the news that they have been seeing more than the norm. They have been feeding right in people’s yards, feeding with the other forms of wildlife, squirrels and other birds in Michigan. It’s really great to hear, Turkeys make a really great meal and are fun to hunt with family and friends.

Check out this picture to the right of a white Turkey, looks like the bird may be a cross between a wild turkey and a domestic bird. Carl Galeana of Northville spotted it in the flock.
